On August 31, the Guangdong Provincial Development and Reform Commission issued the "Notice on Further Improving Guangdong Province's Peak-to-Valley Time-of-use Electricity Price Policy", which clearly proposed to increase the peak-to-valley price difference. The peak-to-valley price ratio is adjusted from the current 1.65:1:0.5 to 1.7:1:0.38, and the peak electricity price is increased by 25% on the basis of the peak-valley time-of-use price. The maximum peak-to-valley price difference between peaks and valleys reached 1.1735 yuan/kWh, and the peak-to-trough price difference was also 0.8877 yuan/kWh. This notice will be implemented from October 1, 2021.

5. 3GW photovoltaic power generation project! Xiangtou Holdings will invest in building a new energy equipment manufacturing industrial park in Ningxia
On August 27th, Xiangtou Holding Group and Hongsibao District of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region signed a strategic cooperation agreement on the "Ningdian into Hunan" Hunan Xiangtou Holding Industrial Park project. This note is another breakthrough in the issuance of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area's first local state-owned enterprise carbon neutral bond by Bank of China Guangdong.

8. India uses solar and wind energy to meet 72% of its electricity demand in the first half of the year
Due to the continuing impact of the new crown pneumonia pandemic, India's electricity demand in the first half of 2021 only increased by 3% from the level in the first half of 2019. According to a new report from London-based research institute Ember, among the developing countries in Asia, India has one of the countries with the lowest increase in electricity demand during the pandemic. Solar and wind energy met 72% of India's electricity demand growth, but coal-fired power generation also increased by 4%, thus filling the remaining demand gap and offsetting the decline in hydropower generation. 9. Serbia launches rooftop photovoltaic net metering rebate program
Serbian Minister of Mines and Energy Zorana Mihajlovic announced that the country’s rooftop photovoltaic tax rebate plan will be made public for the first time on September 3. The tax rebate will cover 50% of the cost of installing and deploying photovoltaic systems and is designed to support owners and businesses to take advantage of the recently introduced net metering system, which will allow them to sell excess electricity to Serbian state-owned power company Elektroprivreda Srbije (EPS). Mikhailovich said the procedure for installing the roof system has also been simplified, and the EPS must be connected to the photovoltaic system within five days after its owner obtains the connection approval.
