On September 18, the Management Committee of the Lingang New Area of the Shanghai Free Trade Zone issued the "Implementation Plan for the Large-scale Construction of Photovoltaic Application Scenarios in the Lingang New Area (2021-2025)". The plan is clear. Through the overall layout, the enterprise investment commitment mechanism and the government's optimized allocation of resources are used to achieve full coverage of the rooftop photovoltaic of the new industrial plant and the stable and orderly construction of the stock photovoltaic resources. 4. TBEA subsidiary won 15.5 billion yuan polysilicon long-term order
On the evening of September 22, TBEA disclosed that its subsidiary obtained a long-term order of 15.458 billion yuan in primary polysilicon. The company's holding subsidiary Xinte Energy Co., Ltd. and Shuangliang Silicon Materials Co., Ltd. signed the "Polysilicon Strategic Cooperation Sales Agreement". Liang Si Material Company will purchase 82,200 tons of primary polysilicon from Xinte Energy Company from January 2022 to December 2026. If calculated according to the latest average transaction price of single crystal dense materials published by the Silicon Industry Branch, the total amount of the agreement is estimated to be about 15.458 billion yuan (excluding tax, the estimated price does not constitute a price commitment).

Recently, Jiangsu CITIC Bo New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and Three Gorges Capital Holdings Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement. 8. Germany will lower the tax on renewable energy from 2022
German Minister of Economy and Energy Peter Altmaier said that from January 1, 2022, the renewable energy tax or the so-called EEG tax paid by German consumers for electricity consumption is expected to be reduced by one third. The Minister added that this will be the largest reduction in the EEG taxation since its introduction, but this is only the first step towards the complete elimination of this goal, which is expected to be completed within three years. The EEG tax is designed to support the expansion of renewable energy in Germany, and to compensate for the difference between market prices and feed-in tariffs, as well as the market premium paid to electricity producers.
9. Ecuador announces 500MW renewable energy tender plan
The Ecuadorian government has officially announced its plan to launch an open tender process for 500 MW of renewable energy capacity as Unconventional Renewable Energy Block I (ERNC), also known as NCRE. Ecuador’s goal is to install an additional 1.44 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2031 according to its power master plan. The solar photovoltaic technology obtains 120 MW, the minimum capacity of each project is 3 MW, and the maximum is 50 MW. The concession for solar power projects is valid for 30 years. The winning project is expected to be completed within 18 months.
