Ollie give it! Stabilize the lifeline of photovoltaic "going to sea"

In the rumbling whistle, the photovoltaic modules started the journey of "riding the wind and breaking the waves". Such scenes often appear in ocean-going terminals around the world.

As the global energy system accelerates its transition to low-carbon, vigorously developing renewable energy has become the mainstream direction of the global energy transition. Chinese photovoltaic companies not only continue to output reliable products at the manufacturing end, but also put the interests of customers first at the delivery end.

In recent years, as the global demand for clean energy continues to increase, domestic photovoltaic products have gradually moved to overseas markets. Since entering the market in early 2015, Longi's PV module shipments have reached the first place in China in less than two years. In 2020, it will ship 24.53GW, becoming the world's first.

In the face of ever-increasing customer demand, how to ensure efficient delivery has become a top priority.

On April 26 last year, a car of the "Chang'an" China-Europe train loaded with LONGi photovoltaic modules was sent from Xi'an to Europe. The whole journey is nearly 10,000 kilometers. This is the first time that Longi has achieved component delivery through long-distance cross-border rail transportation. After 20 days, these products arrived at the local bonded storage center in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, for the construction of distributed power stations in more than 20 European countries. However, this is only a microcosm of the establishment and improvement of Longi's global logistics network.

Since the outbreak of the new crown pneumonia, international logistics has been affected to varying degrees. In order to reduce the impact of logistics on production and delivery, Longi has actively adopted a variety of measures to fully open up the logistics lifeline. At the same time, LONGi also flexibly used a variety of logistics models to form a full-coverage three-dimensional logistics network to ensure the stability of the global supply chain and customer delivery during the epidemic.

In April this year, Longi’s Hi-MO 5 high-efficiency modules arrived in the General Bernardo O’Higgins Region in northern Chile after two months of sea and land transportation. This has been fully reflected in the multiple processes of box-land transportation-sea transportation-land transportation-unpacking. Of course, the same scenario has also appeared in overseas countries such as Pakistan, the United Kingdom, Spain, Australia, etc., injecting sufficient "green" impetus into the development of local renewable energy.

In the face of the tense situation of maritime logistics, Longi is also continuing to ensure reliable delivery. On June 16 this year, Longi and COSCO SHIPPING signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The two parties will carry out strategic cooperation in container transportation, end-to-end logistics supply chain, warehousing and other aspects. Through COSCO SHIPPING's efficient capacity guarantee, it will help photovoltaic products go global.

In addition, Longi has also actively deployed overseas warehousing centers, using cross-border rail, land transportation, etc., so that the delivery speed and service of components have been greatly improved. In the future, Longi will continue to focus on customers, continue to optimize operating routes, improve delivery efficiency, and further enhance its influence in overseas markets.
